Turtle Wax traces its origin to inventor Ben Hirsch, who experimented with liquid automobile polish in the 1930s. His premium Plastone polish was produced in Chicago in 1944, before the product and company adopted the Turtle Wax name in 1946 to evoke a durable hard-shell finish.

The brand moved from bottled wax into a broad vehicle-care portfolio and expanded internationally, opening a manufacturing facility in England in 1966. Later milestones included Minute Wax spray wax, Color Magic paint-matched products, clear ICE polish and the Hybrid Solutions ceramic range.

Today's catalogue covers shampoos, waxes, polishes, compounds, interior cleaners, wheel and tyre care, glass products and restoration treatments. Selection depends on the surface, existing finish, contamination, paint condition, application method and the desired balance between correction, gloss and protection.

Power-Hub carries Turtle Wax across vehicle cleaning, detailing and maintenance categories. The live ranking below will identify the strongest current areas, followed by five relevant products selected from the store catalogue.
