Power-Hub
Accessibility Statement
Power-Hub is built for people who need reliable power on site, on the road, and off-grid. We want our website to be just as dependable โ and just as easy to use โ for everyone who visits it.
Our commitment
Power-Hub is part of the Sitex Industrial Ltd group. We are committed to making power-hub.co.uk and the services we offer through it as accessible as possible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. Accessibility is a continuous part of how we build, review and improve the site.
The standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These international guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, cognitive and neurological differences.
The Power-Hub website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The areas where we fall short are listed under Known limitations below, and we are working to address them.
What we have done so far
To make Power-Hub as accessible as we can, we have:
- Used clear, plain English across product pages, the checkout and account areas.
- Structured pages with semantic HTML โ proper headings, landmarks and lists โ so that screen readers can navigate the content logically.
- Made the site fully operable from a keyboard, with visible focus indicators on links, buttons and form fields.
- Provided alternative text for product photography, icons and informative graphics.
- Chosen colour combinations that meet AA contrast ratios for body text and key interface controls.
- Built forms โ including the contact form, checkout and account registration โ so that labels, errors and instructions are announced correctly to assistive technology.
- Allowed text to be resized up to 200% in the browser without loss of content or functionality.
- Designed the site to be responsive, so it adapts to mobile, tablet and desktop screens, and to different orientations.
- Used ARIA attributes where appropriate to expose dynamic interactions such as cart updates, accordion sections and live search results.
Known limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of the Power-Hub website may not yet be fully accessible. Known issues include:
- Some manufacturer-supplied product datasheets, user manuals and certification documents are PDF files that may not be fully tagged for screen reader use.
- A small number of older product images may not have descriptive alternative text. New uploads are subject to our accessibility checklist.
- Certain embedded media (for example, manufacturer product videos) may not yet include captions or audio description.
- Some third-party plugins and widgets used on the site โ for reviews, payments, or analytics โ may not meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA in full. We are working with suppliers to improve this.
If you find any other accessibility problem while using Power-Hub, please let us know.

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
How we test
