Modern Slavery Act Statement

Power-Hub is committed to conducting business ethically and with full respect for the rights and dignity of all people throughout our supply chain.

๐Ÿ“… This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It sets out steps taken to ensure modern slavery and human trafficking are not present within our business or supply chain. Last updated: April 2026.

Our Business

Power-Hub is a UK-based eCommerce business specialising in electrical products, industrial supplies, and trade goods, operating as part of the Sitex Direct group. Our supply chain includes UK-based distributors, manufacturers, and importers sourcing products domestically and internationally.

Our Commitment

Power-Hub has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in all its forms โ€” including forced labour, debt bondage, child labour, human trafficking, and any other form of exploitation. We are committed to acting ethically in our own business and encouraging the same standards from all suppliers and business partners.

Risk Assessment & Due Diligence

  • Supplier screening: New suppliers are assessed during onboarding, including review of compliance policies and ethical trading standards.
  • Contractual obligations: Our supplier agreements require compliance with applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
  • Ongoing monitoring: We review our supply chain regularly and respond promptly to any concerns raised internally or externally.
  • Preferred UK supply: Where possible, we source from UK-based and EU suppliers, reducing risk associated with global supply chains in higher-risk territories.

Training & Awareness

We ensure that staff are aware of modern slavery risks and understand how to identify and report concerns. Relevant training is provided to staff involved in procurement and supplier management.

Reporting Concerns

Anyone who suspects modern slavery, human trafficking, or labour exploitation within our business or supply chain is encouraged to report it immediately. Reports can be made to our management team or via the Modern Slavery Helpline: 0800 0121 700.
