Brand heritage and specialisms
Pony Jorgensen began in Chicago in 1903, when Adele Holman partnered with Danish cabinetmaker Hans Jorgensen and tool salesman Marcus Russ. The company's early success came from Jorgensen's adjustable wooden handscrew, designed to provide durable clamping power and accommodate angled work.
Clamping remained the brand's central specialism as the range expanded into bar, pipe, C, spring and parallel-jaw clamps, handscrews, vises and supporting workshop equipment. Its official history emphasises a long continuity of design, materials and dedicated clamp manufacture.
Choosing a clamp requires the opening capacity, throat depth, clamping force, workpiece material and risk of surface marking to be considered. Even pressure and suitable protective pads help prevent distortion, while larger assemblies may require several clamps positioned to balance the load.
Power-Hub carries Pony Jorgensen across woodworking clamps, vises and workshop-support categories. The live category ranking below will identify the strongest populated areas, followed by five relevant products available through the store.
