Sievert is a Swedish specialist in professional heating tools whose heritage reaches back to the early 1880s. Soldering specialist Carl Richard Nyberg developed an improved blowtorch, and a later partnership with industrialist Max Sievert combined Nyberg's manufacturing work with international distribution.

The business developed from liquid-fuel blowlamps into professional propane systems, introducing propane burners in 1952. Sievert became part of the Rothenberger group in 2003 while retaining its focus on controlled heat application and application-led tool systems.

Today's range includes Promatic, Pro 86 and Pro 88 torch systems, Powerjet and Metaljet products, soldering irons, burners, neck tubes, regulators, hoses, cylinders and hot-air equipment.
