The WM1500TR is a high-quality wall or floor-mounted intermittent transformer designed for safe electrical distribution, particularly for power tools in industrial settings and fixed installations. This transformer effectively steps down the UK mains voltage to a 110V centre-tap earthed (CTE) site safety supply, minimizing the risk of electric shock through its double-wound 110V secondary that is centre-tapped to earth. It is housed in a robust sheet steel enclosure with an IP22 rating, suitable for indoor use, and features 20mm conduit entries on both sides for easy hardwiring to the 230V mains supply.
