The WM5000TR is a high-quality wall or floor-mounted intermittent transformer designed for safe electrical distribution, particularly for power tools in industrial settings and other fixed installations. This transformer effectively steps down the UK mains voltage from 230V to a safer 110V CTE (centre tap earthed) supply, significantly reducing the risk of electric shock. It features a double-wound 110V secondary that is centre-tapped to earth, enhancing safety measures. Encased in a robust sheet steel enclosure rated IP22, it is suitable for indoor use and includes provisions for 20mm conduit entry on both sides. The internal terminals on the input side facilitate hardwiring to the mains supply, ensuring a secure and reliable connection.
